10eke-stock

As a result of my rage after I noticed my stock was used for commercial purposes I placed my 1000+ stock items in storage. My mood gradually got back to normal again, and I considered to work on the stock getting out of storage again. On the other hand there were so many stock images and items which had less than 5 page views, and some items did not even had downloads. So first I started the big project of "stock-sorting-out". While in this proces DA suffered from this bug: It was not possible to get items out of storage. So I took my time, and as a matter of fact - I think because of this bug - I removed more items than I intended.
When finally the storage bug disappeared I was ready to move a highly reduced selection of stock images back to my account.
So: here they are again! I wish you all happy creating!

It feels like my life is redirected another way, not the easy going but I am so happy with it. It is like an angel is guiding me how to wake up again and look at the world with new eyes. It doesn't feel like a nice world, but it is definitely a world which is meant to live in and love in - thus a world to love.

I am MAD, ANGRY, BOOS, KWAAD!

Someone just went by my Terms of Use. There is this parrot I offered as stock turned into a glittering image offered on various prints and duvet covers. Prices range up to 125 dollars.
This is not by the rule "If you want to use it for commercial purposes you must ask first."
This is such a simple rule, and still it is ignored.

Allright, what I've done is put all my stock in storage now, and it will stay there until I made up my mind whether I should or should not removed them definitely.

Unless stated otherwise all my stock is my own photographs.

Stock consists of photographs, and cut-outs from PD images as well as my own photographs.
At the PD resources: If I know the original artist or publisher I will mention his/her name.

Most important rules:
- You can use the images for non-violent/hatred, non-disgusting work.
- I don't mind nudity but please let it be decent, no pornography. If you are in doubt just ask.
- If you want to use it for commercial purposes you must ask first.
- You are not allowed to make horse (or howrse, equine) related art or items with my stock nor make art for horse related sites with my stock. (update August 2014).
- You are not allowed to make other stock from my stock.
- In case the image is no longer on my stock account, because it is removed (or in storage), you are no longer allowed to use the image.

- I want a link and credit at your creation, you must comment at my stock image with a link to what you've made with it. I will fav it.

- Redistributing of the stock, or claiming it your own is NOT allowed.
- My stock is meant for creating something else, something new with it.
- Be Creative!
- Have fun.

Surprisingly odd, but I was as happy as a child yesterday.
Even the day before yesterday I noticed some long forgotten feelings like the pleasant nervous expectations with a birthday coming up.

I had ordered some nice and sunny weather for Sunday afternoon, however as a matter of fact the delivery was delayed with a few hours - the weather turned out very unpredictable, at a given moment it was looking nice at the front while it poured at the backyard (I'll never deal with that weather-company again), so it was a happy gathering in my not too big living room - and little groups of smokers in the yard.
The food turned out great, it was really worth all the effort I put in over the last week: Home made candy (such as fudge, peanut-butter bonbons etc.), cakes and cookies (coconut brownies, Dutch "boterkoek") pies (raisin/prosecco, almond tart), breads (chelsey buns, lager loaf), savoury snacks and sandwiches, just to name a few of the things which were on my extended table.
Husband and daughters took care of the honours so I could sit down and chat with my guests. When later that afternoon I opened the fridge I noticed the cheesecake was "on hold in its chilling stage" - oops! - but fortunately there were still enough people who dealt with it, so I don't have to eat it all by myself (am I ever glad I lacked the time of making two of those )

And my! am I spoiled rotten with gifts! When people asked I told them I would be happy to have their company, but everyone gave presents as well, it was just too much.
Well I better go find a spot in my garden for those blueberry bushes my sister brought me, or learn about the art of home wine-making with that nice equipment I am now the proud owner of. Or looking forward to the treatment to get "my" chakra's balanced again, however at this very moment I presume they are doing fairly well

I appreciate the faves you all give me for my stock images. But since this is stock I assume this is also for future reference in creating your own art.
So I use this place to thank you all for all the faves you gave the stock-images, in the past, today and in future. As I said before I really appreciate it that you take interest in my stock, and ofcourse I look forward to your creations with this stock

Now back to the back-ground info:

I take lots of pictures of plants and flowers, easy for me because my backyard is full of them.
I don't like to make my pictures prettier than they are, nature can handle that perfectly herself. From one single kind of flower you can take many different pictures, as flowerbud, in full bloom, the seedpods - you as the photographer only need patience. I seldom use flash, I don't like it, I think it takes a lot of depth out of your picture. And most of my pictures are sligtly underexposed, this is again to get some more depth in the pictures and because often the colors will be - especially with flowers - more pronounced.

In my photograph collection you can also find landscapes, townviews and objects, actually everything which catches my eye when I got my camera with me,
You will only find the original photographs, no changes, no alterations such as adjustment of colors or the horizon, because I assume everyone here knows perfectly well how to do those adjustments.

At most I will in incidental cases crop a picture.
This stock is not meant to be redistributed, but this stock is meant to use as part for your own creation.

Eerst even dit: Ik stel het zeer op prijs dat je de tijd neemt om mijn stock images te bekijken en al helemaal dat er faves voor worden uitgedeeld. Omdat dit een stock account is neem ik aan dat die faves vooral gegeven worden om die bepaalde image misschien eens te gebruiken.
Ik gebruik dit plekkie dan ook om iedereen die faves heeft gegeven, geeft en nog gaat geven te bedanken daarvoor, zoals ik al eerder zei ik waardeer het zeker, (en ben ook heel nieuwsgierig naar wat je nou gaat maken met mijn images).

En dan nu toch de info die in de titel al wordt genoemd:
Ik fotografeer veel planten en bloemen, dat is makkelijk want mijn achtertuintje staat er vol mee;
Ik hou er niet van om mijn foto's mooier te maken dan ze zijn, de natuur kan daar prima zelf voor zorgen. Van één enkele soort bloem kan je zoveel verschillende foto's maken, in knop, in volle bloei, de zaaddoosjes, de natuur manipuleert zelf - jij als fotograaf hoeft alleen maar geduld te hebben.
Ik gebruik bijna nooit de flitser, ik hou er niet van, ik vind dat het je foto's vlakker maakt Ook zijn mijn foto's meestal net even onderbelicht, ook weer vanwege die diepte en omdat het vooral bij bloemen de kleuren meer laat spreken.

Maar ook landschappen, stadsgezichten en objechten vind je bij mijn foto's, eigenlijk alles waar mijn oog op valt als ik een camera in mijn had heb.
Je vindt hier alleen maar originele foto's, waarbij niets is veranderd, geen nabewerkingen als kleuren of horizon aangepast, omdat ik aanneem dat iedereen hier prima in staat is om zelf die aanpassingen (van bv. kleur) te maken.
Hooguit zal ik in incidentele gevallen een uitsnede hebben gemaakt.

Deze stock is niet bedoeld om te verspreiden, maar juist bedoeld om te gebruiken als onderdeel bij je eigen creaties.
